🌳 STORM DEBRIS CLEANUP UPDATE — COLLECTION ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE 🌳
The Village of Sadorus has arranged assistance through a mutual aid agency to help our residents with the large amount of tree and brush debris left by the recent severe storm.
Crews will be in Sadorus on TUESDAY, August 18th to collect storm-related tree debris.
CURBSIDE COLLECTION
Residents who would like their storm debris picked up must have it moved to the edge of their property BEFORE Tuesday's collection.
Please:
- Place tree limbs, branches and other vegetative storm debris at the edge of your property where crews can safely reach it.
- Do not place debris in the roadway.
- Keep debris away from fire hydrants, utility poles, mailboxes and other obstacles.
- Keep tree and brush debris separate from garbage, construction materials, fencing, metal, furniture and other non-vegetative debris.
- Never approach, cut or move a tree or limb that is touching or near a downed power line.
Crews will be making their collection on Tuesday, so please do not wait until Tuesday to begin moving debris to the curb. Have it ready beforehand.
RESIDENTS MAY ALSO BRING STORM DEBRIS TO THE PARK
Residents who are able to haul their own tree and brush debris may take it directly to Sadorus Park.
ALL debris brought to the park must be taken to the SOUTH BALL DIAMOND PARKING LOT and placed ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK of the parking lot.
Please do not leave storm debris anywhere else in the park.
This temporary collection is for tree, limb and brush debris resulting from the recent storm. Please do not bring household garbage or other unrelated materials.
We greatly appreciate the mutual aid assistance being provided to our community, and we appreciate everyone's cooperation in getting debris properly placed and ready for collection. This service is only for residents of the Village of Sadorus and their Sadorus property.

Sadorus is less than ten miles south of Carle at the Fields, a growing business corridor comprised of clinics, restaurants, and hospitality services established by Carle Foundation Hospital, one of the largest employers in Champaign County.
Miles of rich cropland surround Sadorus, which began as an agricultural community in 1824. Stop in for a visit and find a pearl of a town with great rural views, safe neighborhoods, and a great location for commerce.
